At the Association of Master Roofers we take great pride in the people and companies which make up our member categories.
AMR is made up of three main areas:
Specialist contractor members
Companies who excel in a particular roofing discipline and demonstrate skills and expertise which pass our vetting process. These members show a high level of competency in their respective areas of roofing.

Partner members
Manufacturers, merchants, training groups and inventors who bring value and innovation to the roofing industry, improving the overall quality of roofing within the UK.
Recognised individuals (RIs)
Industry experts who are recognised for their personal achievements and contributions to the roofing industry as individuals. These people are the fibre of the UK roofing sector and are granted membership based on a number of factors which we use to determine the individual’s suitability as an RI.
AMR has a clear vision and identity in the sector, recognising traditional craft skills and heritage skills. However, we also embrace modern or innovative roofing related techniques and systems which in their own right require high levels of competency and knowledge.
Expertise and quality are celebrated here and we strive to maintain a recognition of skilled workmanship in the UK roofing industry.Â
Our parent company, Master Roofers UK, offers traditional craft skills training in partnership with National Construction Training Services Ltd, a nationally-respected training organisation.
AMR members are given discounts on training at these training facilities in the UK which further improve ability and knowledge for UK roofers.
You can find out more about the training pathways here.
All our specialist members are fully vetted through a site and office vetting process which creates credibility and security for home owners, architects and main contractors who are looking for quality roofing experts in the UK.
Our vetting process also means that only highly-competent specialists are invited to join the association upon completion of vetting. This process covers:
